Matheus Colli-Silva

I am a faculty member at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Recife, Brazil. As a taxonomist specializing in the cacao family (Malvaceae), I combine plant systematics, museomics, and biodiversity informatics in my research. My work typically addresses one of the following topics: (1) systematics, evolution, and biogeography of Neotropical Malvaceae; (2) domestication genomics and the historical geography of cultigens and their wild relatives; and (3) biodiversity informatics and the synthesis of biogeographical patterns.
