Mércia Patrícia Pereira Silva

I am a Professor at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco – UFPE. My research interests include biogeography, taxonomic and functional diversity, and conservation of bryophytes. Our team (Laboratório Biologia de Briófitas) is focused on understanding the biogeographic patterns and bryophytes (populations and communities) responses to environmental filters and anthropogenic disturbance.
