I am Professor of Plant Physiology at the Institute of Biology/UFU. My experience involves the relationship between the structure and function of Cerrado plants with CAM or C4 metabolism (mainly orchids, bromeliads, and grasses). I have been working with the photosynthetic metabolism and water relations in these plants, relating them to abiotic and biotic factors (mainly galls) that influence their development.
