I am currently a research fellow at the Instituto Nacional da Mata Atlântica – INMA. I am deeply interested in the mysteries of nature and the processes that shape the magnificent biodiversity we see around us. My research focuses on plant systematics, biogeography, and evolution. I also conduct studies on diversity in science, trying to understand patterns based on data to propose diversity, equity, and inclusion in science. My studies are on Neotropical climbing plants, specifically the families Bignoniaceae and Sapindaceae. Besides science, I love art in general. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, playing musical instruments, and spending time with my loved ones.
