Claudia Barbieri Mendonça

I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Botany at the National Museum/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). My research focuses on Palynology and its applications (Palinotaxonomy, Melissopalynology, Entomopalynology, Aeropalynology and Forensic Palynology). I am particularly interested in studying pollen morphology and establishing the relationships and degrees of kinship between different groups of plants, aiming to trace the evolutionary lines of the different taxa.
