I’m a Professor of Ecology at the Institute of Biosciences of São Paulo State University (UNESP), campus Botucatu. I’m passionate about natural history and use plant-animal interactions as the main model of my research in ecology. My main interests are floral biology, plant sexual systems and pollination ecology, and despite working in different pollination systems, I’m fascinated about hawkmoth-pollinated plants, and try to understand the ecology and evolution of plant-hawkmoth interactions at different scales, varying from individuals to ecosystems.
