I am a biologist dedicated to the study of Amazonian fungi. Currently, I am affiliated with the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences – Tropical Botany at the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi/Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia (Belém-Pará), where I research Microfungi Taxonomy. My research includes taxonomic and ecological studies of asexual ascomycetes and fungi of the order Pucciniales, with a focus on understanding the fantastic diversity of these groups. I also have experience in the study of environmental DNA from the soil with a focus on restoring degraded areas, conducting research at the Instituto Tecnológico Vale – Belém.
