I’m a Full Professor at the Botany Department of the Federal University of Goiás. My research is deeply rooted in plant physiology and biochemistry, with a focus on mechanisms that enable plants to withstand and thrive in dry conditions. I have been studying the distribution and dynamic changes in plant metabolites, particularly non-structural carbohydrates, under challenging environments.
