Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso, Alta Floresta, MT, Brazil

I am Professor of Ecology, Biodiversity, Plant Sciences and Multivariate Statistics at the Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso – Alta Floresta, MT, Brazil. I am productivity scholarship PQ-2 of CNPq (Brazilian Government Agency that support researches in the country). As a researcher, my interests are with the geographic distribution of plant species, ecological modeling and conservation biogeography. I have been served as Editor-in-Chief for ABB since January 2020. I strongly believe that education transforms the world, and I advocate the use of high-quality science as basis for conservation practices. I am father of a 3-year girl, who is revealing me the most beautiful face of love.
